Credit cards & Seasonal Businesses

We have now been working with Novus for over a year and would recommend them for anyone else with a small seasonal craft business.

Questions to ask when setting up a credit card account for a seasonal business:
• What are the charges during months that there are no credit card transactions?
• Is there a minimum monthly sales amount to meet in order to avoid fees?
• Do you have more than one model of phone equipment available? -If you already have a phone, you probably do not need a unit with a built-in phone since they are more expensive.
• Can I purchase the phone equipment rather than lease it?
• Do you have used phone equipment available for purchase?
• Does the company sell the phone equipment, or do they contract for it with another firm?
• If I must lease the equipment, how long is the lease, what is the total cost of the lease.
• What is the retail price of the equipment compared to the cost of the lease?
